Heavy Duty Headache Rack for GMC Trucks

The Heavy Duty Headache Rack is fabricated with a 2"x4" frame, capable of handling any job. This massive frame is the largest on the market giving the truck a very beefy look. This Headache Rack is available in many different configurations. The primary purpose of this rack is to protect the cab and back glass of the truck when hauling cargo in the bed. It is also a handy product if you want to add extra lights to your bed for working or backing up. With the addition of the full rails the headache rack offers many tie down points when transporting a load.

Available options for this model include:

• Red Oval Brake Lights - Red Oval 6½" x 2¼" Sealed Lights with 3-Prong Connector. By upgrading your Rear Bumper with this option, an oval hole to fit the lights will be plasma cut in the lower skirting below the 4" pipe base. They will work in conjunction with your factory stop, turn, and tail lights and are a great addition to any Tough Country Rear.
• White Oval Backup Lights - Clear Oval 6½" x 2¼" Sealed Lights with 3-Prong Connector. By upgrading your Rear Bumper with this option, an oval hole to fit the lights will be plasma cut in the lower skirting below the 4" pipe base. They will work in conjunction with your factory reverse lights or can be wired as a work light. Either way the added light comes in handy and is a great addition to any Tough Country Rear.
• Work Light -
• Full Bed Rails - This is a 2" x 3" x 3/16" angle iron bed cap with a 1½" square tubing rail welded on top. The rail extends from the head piece of the Headache Rack to the back of the bed. It is a great option for protecting the top of your bed rails and gives you plenty of anchor points when carrying cargo. This option is available in 6' and 8' lengths.
• Cut-outs for a Tool Box - If you are getting full bed rails and plan on installing a full size tool box, then you will need to select this option. For your toolbox to fit, we cut the square tubing rail and give it a slight 45 degree downward angle, tying it back in, to give you a clean rail look.

Custom Color Powder Coating - This gives you the same industrial strength powder coat finish as standard high gloss black finish with the added benefit of vibrant colors, duller colors, and textures.

• High Pressure Spray on Bed Liner Finish - Tough Country's strongest and most durable coating. By upgrading with this option, a high pressure Bed-Liner Finish is sprayed on top of the standard industrial strength powder coat.
